3. What data we process
If you write to us: your email address, your name and company if you include them, and whatever you tell us.
When you visit the site: technical data that the hosting provider records in its server logs, such as your IP address, your browser and the pages requested.
We do not ask for special categories of data, such as health data. Please do not send them.
4. Purposes, legal bases and retention
| Purpose | Legal basis | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to your message | Our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) | While the conversation is active, then for the legal limitation periods |
| Prepare a first conversation or proposal you ask for | Steps taken at your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) | While the conversation is active, then for the legal limitation periods |
| Serve the website and keep it secure | Our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) | The period set by the hosting provider's log policy, unless the logs are needed to investigate an incident |
When a period ends, the data is blocked for as long as the law requires and then deleted.
5. Do you have to give us data?
No. There are no forms on this website, and you decide what to include in an email. Without an email address we cannot reply.
6. Customer data and AI models
Data that a company processes with Far belongs to that company and is used only for it, under the contract with each customer.
Far works with open-weight models deployed in private, controlled environments: dedicated or isolated environments, or the customer's own infrastructure where justified. Customer data is not sent to outside AI providers and never enters third-party training without the customer's explicit agreement. Nothing derived from it crosses to another customer without rights, contract terms and technical safeguards.
Far prepares forecasts, search results and draft documents. People at the customer review them and decide. Far does not make decisions about individuals that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Far designs its architecture to support the GDPR principles of data minimisation and data protection by design, and European AI regulation. Compliance is assessed for each deployment, according to its use and risk.
7. Who receives your data
Some providers process data on our behalf, under contracts that bind them to the GDPR (Art. 28): website hosting (Vercel Inc.) and email. We share data with public authorities only when the law requires it. We do not sell your data or share it for any other purpose. You can ask for the current list of our processors at hello@farsystems.eu.
8. International transfers
Vercel, our hosting provider, is based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, with Vercel or any other provider, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for details of these safeguards at hello@farsystems.eu.
9. Your rights
- Access: know whether we process your data and get a copy.
- Rectification: correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
- Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Restriction: ask us to limit processing while a request is checked.
- No automated decisions: not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
Write to hello@farsystems.eu with the subject "Data protection", or by post to the address in section 2. We reply within one month, which can be extended by two more months for complex requests. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
10. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures suited to the risk. ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications are on our roadmap. If a breach puts your data at risk, we will inform you and the authority as the law requires.
11. Cookies and local storage
We do not set cookies, use analytics or embed third-party content. Fonts and images are served from farsystems.eu. If you choose a language with the language switcher, your browser stores that choice on your device (local storage) so the site opens in that language next time. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
12. Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters to people we are in contact with, we tell them by email.
